Beautiful Pendant Kitchen Lighting
Hi All!
You may have guessed from the last post about Vancouver. Or the captions on Instagram. We have been on the hunt for pendant kitchen lighting. And finding inspiration everywhere. Just look at the lighting in these restaurants we visited.
The Inspiration
Beautiful Pendant Kitchen Lighting
I have narrowed the list to nine pendants because even nine choices are too many for me to chose from! Just a little background… We have decided to paint our kitchen cabinets a deep green with aged brass hardware. This, paired with our old marble, is going to look very classic… which is exactly what R is going for. Me? I’m going for more of a light, airy, and a touch coastal kitchen.
Clearly, a compromise was in order. I finally landed on two words to describe the look we were going for… R with his more traditional kitchen and me with my more coastal kitchen. Crisp and Clean. Neither leans too much one way or the other.

The Top 9 Beautiful Kitchen Pendant Lighting
So, in line with a Crisp and Clean Kitchen, I’ve rounded up 9 pendant options. These will go in the nook of our eat-in kitchen. I realize that some of these lean closer to R and some are more in line with my look, so let me know your thoughts in the Comments section below 😉 Here is a BEFORE photo. This is just to get an idea of the space. The walls will be painted white and we will likely/hopefully have enough left in our budget for a different table and chairs. So, you really have to close your eyes and picture it- haha!
Let’s start with this lovely classic pendant light. Not to start with the winner, but… I just love that this is understated yet somehow, at the same time, a statement piece. I think it may be perfect for the eat-in kitchen area.
This is good option to bring in a bit of a California vibe while maintaining clean, simple lines.
While this next pendant does lean more traditional, the sizing seems to be right for our kitchen nook. And against white walls, it could look just right.
Okay… not to play favorites, but… I think this is it! For real this time! I love the ratan, the texture, and the coastal feel. I mean… it doesn’t have to be completely crisp and clean, right?
The teak wood in this pendant contributes a lake vibe while the fiberglass gives a classic and sophisticated feel. It could be the perfect compromise.
The use of raw materials in this pendant leans natural while the simple form and color bring in that simple, classic feel. It definitely feels Crisp and Clean to me!
Admittedly, this pendant is neither clean nor crisp, but isn’t it just beautiful!?! And what a statement. I forgot to share that not only is the pendant visible from the side door and patio door, but it also can be seen when guests walk in the front door. This might make the perfect first impression.
The next pendant would be a huge splurge, but I love how the molten opal glass adds interest while the brass brings in the traditional. I also don’t really trust myself or my family with a clear glass pendant and, for some reason, the molten glass makes me more comfortable with it.
This pendant reminds me of much of the lighting we saw in Vancouver restaurants. The milk glass adds warmth and a sense of cozy.
Tell me your Thoughts and Pin It
There you have it! Beautiful Kitchen Pendant Lighting. What do you think? Which do you think goes most with the Clean and Crisp theme? Or should I just abandon that and go with my favorite?!?

I’d have to go with 1, 3, or 7, with 3 probably being my personal favorite. 1 looks really cool, though! I can see why you called it the winner. 🙂
Mackinaw Road
LOVE those choices! I may just have to find places for all three 😉
