Living Room: Summer Pillow Covers

The Introductions

Cloth + Cabin, a small, local woman-owned business, recently launched a new signature collection of pillows in conjunction with Treetops Collective. Treetops Collective is a non-profit organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that provides work and support for new American refugee women to lay down their roots here. The Summer Pillow Covers

I was gifted three pillow covers for this collaboration. There may have been an audible gasp of delight when I opened the package. The fabrics have a very designer feel without the astronomical price tag that often accompanies high end pillow covers. The pillows are made from either high end woven materials, vintage fabrics, or are made in USA and are stain resistant. They are made in small batches and have limited runs.

The pillow covers are beautiful, and the velvet on the Vintage Blush Velvet Pillow Cover is oh-so-soft.

There were so many lovely pillow cover options to create some delightful summer combinations! I ultimately landed on the three pillows shown. I love that so many of the pillow covers in this signature collections are interchangeable and can be mixed and matched for the your very own personal combination.

The Miles Stripe Pillow Cover is the perfect choice to add a little summer stripe to our living room sofa.

I love how the ink color in the striped pillow ties in with the ink tones in the Garden Pillow Cover, another pillow that will be charming all spring and summer long.

The brass zip closure is such a nice detailed touch.

I could not stop taking photos of these beautiful pillow covers. They go perfectly in our colonial living room but could also work wonderfully at the Beach Cabin. The new pillows played nicely with the pillows we already owned, which was an added bonus. I am still trying to figure out the perfect pillow configuration for the sectional, but as you can see, I have some really good options!

The signature pillow covers are available in a 20×20 square or a 12×20 lumbar. If you have any questions, I have found Cloth + Cabin to be extremely responsive! Because computer screens can sometimes alter colors, I wanted to double check that the fabric on the pillows I had chosen went together. I received a prompt response and was on my way to ordering!
