Five March Updates
March certainly went by more quickly than February and I was easily able to come up with Five March Updates including sunglasses, swimsuits, a book, a family game, and planters.

March Favorites: Sunglasses, Swimsuits & Shoes
In case you missed it, we spent some time in Southern California recently. You can read about it here. Speaking of sunny days, I put together a little round up of sunglasses that all come in at under $30 and are from a brand I love and a store I frequent.
With warm sunshine in the future (in a few months here in Michigan- lol/sob), I ordered two swimsuits to try on and decided to keep them both. Unfortunately, one is already sold out but I really liked this one too. I linked that and some other swimsuit options from a Round Up I put together last year.
And these shoes… I usually get them in black but decided to spice it up a bit with some metallic.
March Update: Book
You know you love an author if you’re willing to carry on his latest book… in hardcover… with close to 600 pages on a long trip. If you’ve been with me awhile, you know that Amor Towles is a favorite. My neighbor introduced me to Rules of Civility (in my top 5 all time favorites). I then read A Gentleman in Moscow, which was soooo good too! The Lincoln Highway takes place in middle America and New York. Per usual, the character development grabbed my attention from the very beginning. This book had me feeling all the emotions. And that’s all I’m going to say for now. Another great book from Amor Towles.
March Update: Family Game
We’ve been playing quite a bit of Spot It as a family this month. It’s not competitive at all- haha! Spot It is such a fun game. It would be perfect to bring along on a trip since it is small and travels easily. I feel like it takes R and me at least a round for our brains to warm up and get in the rhythm of the game. It’s fun getting older.
March: Home Decor Update
On the home decor front, one of my outdoor planters shattered. I’m not sure what happened, but I think the constantly changing rollercoaster March temperatures may be what did it in. Anyway, I’ll be searching for a replacement this spring. I like this one and think the price is reasonable. I’ll also be referring to this post from last spring for more inspiration and ideas.
Okay- that’s 5 already! Have a great week~
