Kitchen Styling: Spring Shelves 3 Ways
Kitchen Stying: Spring Shelves 3 Ways
Sometimes it is difficult to tell whether or not spring is actually here. One day it is snowing and the next it is 60+ degrees. One way that I have attempted ensure that spring feeling lasts (even in an onslaught of snow) is through fresh (indoor) flowers and spring shelves. Below are some Kitchen Styling Ideas to bring spring inside when it is still cold and/or raining and/or snowing outside. All of the shelf styling was done in collaboration with The Counting House. I have so much fun working together to brainstorm the shelf ideas while at the store and then bringing the beautiful items home to see them come to fruition on my kitchen shelves.
You can shop The Counting House items on the website or in the store. Additional kitchen sources are linked at the end of the post.
Calm & Sophisticated Spring Shelves: Yellow, Cream and Greens
Let’s start with an oldie but goodie. In addition to the mustard yellow, creams and greens, I love the wood tones incorporated throughout. These shelves feel subtlety spring-y. Perfect for March through May. (You can check out the original blog post about the shelves here.)
Bright & Cheerful Spring Shelves: Yellow, Blue & Black
The Bright Yellow, Blue & Black shelves area such a fun combination and come to life on the shelves so well! I love how the shelf decor plays off of the colors in the bird artwork as well as the plates and platters. The yellow ties the blue and black together impeccably. The flowers and stripes add just the right amount of whimsy (which is definitely something we all need around this time of year). They evoke such a nice, bright spring feeling. I love these for April well through June.
Light & Airy Spring Shelves: Turquoise & Yellow
The turquoise and yellow shelves may be my favorite spring shelves to date. They are the perfect way to bring spring break home with you! The colors are reminiscent of clear Caribbean waters and soft sand. They are cheerful in all the best ways. I love these shelves for May through July. So I guess they are really spring and summer shelves! Again, the colors are all tied together through the artwork. Can you believe that Trader Joe’s even had tomatoes to match the minty turquoise?
