Happy Thanksgiving Week! And also Black Friday/all week long sales. I have been slowly putting together a few more gift guides, just for fun. Here are some ideas for specific interests such as travel, pet lovers, coffee enthusiasts, hostess gifts, and travel-inspired design. Most are self explanatory. Gift Guide: Travel-Inspired Design Ideas

The travel-inspired design gift guide warrants some explanation, so here we go… Featuring inspiring European hotels and guesthouses, this book exudes a travel-inspired design theme. Another favorite, this Slim Aarons print reminds me of playing tennis in the Bahamas (although definitely not as stylishly dressed); it also feels very design-forward for a mantel or a prominent wall. When we stayed in Laguna Beach last winter, our hotel had the best lotions and shampoos and conditioners. The whole place smelled dreamy. While on the topic of one of our favorite places to travel, Jenni Kayne emanates California living. This coffee table book is calming and lovely and feels very “California.” Jenni also has several candles with scents that are reminiscent of places in the state. A beautiful photo frame for travel snaps is always a good idea as is this lovely postcard artwork. Finally, some (fairly kitschy) Paris scissors are sure to garner an ironic smile.
