Favorite Blue and Green Paint Colors
Hi! I’m back this week with Favorite Blue and Green Paint colors. Last week we were talking all about tried-and-true White Paint colors. (If you missed it, just click here.) This week is all about blues and greens. Pantone came out recently with their color pick for 2020- it is Classic Blue. And while this list doesn’t contain Classic Blue per se, it does contain blues and greens that are classic in style and quite possibly will stand the test of time.

Cozy Winter Living Room
Hi again! I’m so excited to share our Cozy Winter Living Room with you. As always, I just couldn’t get into the Christmas spirit until after Thanksgiving. Maybe that’s why my decorations bins are always such as disaster… some decorations trickle in every…

Lighting that is in my Top 5 wish-list purchases for the house this year. A dish reminiscent of those childhood Spaghetti-O’s (but much better!) that is in our family’s Top 5 dinner rotations. A book that I read a few years ago but that remains on my Top 5 list. And, finally, the softest pants that are in my Top 5 rotation for winter and spring.

Elegant Dining Room: How to Add a Chevron Board and Batten Wall
Hi there! Well… we missed a week for the One Room Challenge, so we have a lot to catch up on! As a refresher, Gretchen and I are…well… refreshing her dining room. Because I needed some focus, I dubbed the dining room our Elegant Dining Room Refresh (super creative, I know), and it certainly has lived up to its name! This week, we added a chevron board and batten wall. This is such an easy (Okay, not easy. But also not hard. Definitely time consuming.) and relatively inexpensive way to add elegance. So, here is what we (mostly Gretchen) did.
