Summer Beach Cabin Kitchen Shelves
Good morning! With the unofficial start of summer this coming weekend, some fresh summer kitchen shelves at the Beach Cabin were in order. Keep reading for the details of our Summer Beach Cabin Kitchen Shelves. *This post contains affiliate links, meaning that if you click and purchase, I may receive some compensation. Thank you! I posted a poll over on Instagram earlier this spring, and while I can’t find the exact results, I believe that the Beach Cabin kitchen shelves won out over our Colonial Home shelves by just a few percentage points. Maybe we will have to do the kitchen shelves at home soon too. For now though, here…

A Cape Cod Inspired Celebration
You may or may not know that I love something inspired. Okay, maybe even a little theme-y. When my sister and brother in law suggested lobster rolls for our Mother’s Day celebration, I was all in. Then, I saw some candles. And maybe sent a text suggesting that everybody dress the part. But, I’m getting ahead of myself. Keep reading for the details of our Cape Cod Inspired Celebration. As a disclaimer, I should mention that I’ve never been to Cape Cod. Someday soon hopefully! **This post contains affiliate links, meaning that if you click and purchase, I may receive some compensation. Thank you! The Food My sister and brother…

A Round Up of Outdoor Planters
Hi and Happy Thursday! Michigan spoiled us with warmer temperatures last weekend, which made for beautiful patio entertaining. Spring, summer, and fall on the patio is definitely something to look forward to! Our patio is slowly coming together and I’ve been adding outdoor planters to all of my carts. It is tempting to wait until the patio is perfectly put together with huge blue hydrangeas (fingers crossed) in the background, but it seems like now is the time to purchase outdoor planters (at least that’s what all my promotion emails are telling me- haha!) so keep scrolling for our imperfect patio and a round up of potential outdoor planters. **This…

A Hotel-Inspired Half Bath
Today I’m sharing Gretchen’s half bath, inspired by the Detroit Foundation Hotel. Since our travel is limited lately, now seems like a great time to bring in all of those travel-inspired designs and decorations. This is entirely Gretchen’s design and work. I was just lucky enough to be on text train and look at all of the beautiful options and the gorgeous results. Keep reading for the details.

The wall mount faucet is in and I’m loving…

Tween Girl Bedroom Update
Tween Girl Bedroom Update I think I mentioned a while back that we played musical beds this past winter. Everybody got an update but our daughter’s room was the most work. It was worth it, though! Her tween girl bedroom is coming along so nicely. You can see the “before” of her Vintage Beachy Bedroom here.

Spring Table Setting: Gray and Pink
All of this sun in March has me ready for spring! Our spring mantel already got a little refresh and our dining room is next on the list. This spring table setting involves muted terracotta, classic spring pink, and gray stripes. I pulled out our wedding china for this classic spring setting. It’s simple yet elegant detail feels like spring to me. It goes perfectly with my grandmother’s silverware and her water goblets. My SIL knows how much a love a pretty table setting. She gave me a basket full of napkins, table runners, etc. for Christmas. I am going to have so much fun pulling them out and incorporating…

Spring Outfits for Elementary Age Kids
With spring just around the corner (pretty please!), I have big plans to clean out our closets this weekend. Exciting plans, I know. As we are starting to come out of this crazy year, spring outfits for the family seem to be in order. R and my clothes should be fine so one or two items is likely all we need. The kids, however, have shot up over the past year and I’m not sure anything is going to still fit them. Not to mention, they are incredible hard on their clothing. So there’s that.
